It is hard to believe I will be 9 months on Saturday. Hunter's due date is one month from this Wednesday! I can't believe how fast the last few weeks have gone.
We spent this past weekend down at my parents house. We took Bud home, and had my baby shower on Saturday. We got so much stuff for Hunter. JJ and I are so lucky to have such great friends and family. This is going to be one spoiled baby! The drive to/from there was a lot on my body. The swelling in my ankles & feet have been pretty bad lately. I never appreciated how much I like my ankles, I'll be glad when they appear again. Needless to say we were so lucky to get such nice things from everyone that there was NO ROOM in the car on the way back up here. JJ and I unloaded everything last night and Hunter has officially taken over the house. Our goal this week is to get everything organized and put where it is suppose to go because realistically he could be here any day now. Not that my Dr. thinks it will happen anytime soon. I would rather be as prepared as I can be though. We had an apt last week and the Dr. said everything is going great but he did tell me if I were to go into labor they would not do anything to stop it. I'm hoping to go as long as I can. Even though I may be miserable throughout the next few weeks I know that the longer he stays in the better off he will be.
This weekend is 4th of July, my favorite holiday and we have no plans. I'm thinking its going to be a watch fireworks on the tv kind of day especially since it is suppose to rain all weekend. We will see.
We had a really good time having my brother stay with us for the last two weeks. He is such a good kid. JJ and Bud spent a lot of time together I think they will both miss having the other around. My family will be back up in a couple of weeks when Hunter is here though. I like this whole seeing them all the time, it is nice!
We have a Dr. apt scheduled for next Tuesday. It is our last two week apt and then we are down to having an apt every week until he is here. It is hard to believe that there are only 5 or less appointments until he is here! I can't wait!
