So Monday night was our final childbirth class. I was really glad that we went (and JJ survived) throughout the entire 4 weeks. It was worth going and it was not as long of a night as it usually is. We had our tour of labor and delivery and the cutest thing was this big picture they had on the wall called the lullaby song and it had what looked like a doorbell underneath it. They told us every baby that every time a baby is born there the bell is rung and it plays this song throughout the entire hospital so everyone knows a new baby is here! I thought it was too cute! They showed us the delivery room and recovery room and everything inside the rooms and what it does. They let us know where to go and what to do if we think we are in labor. It is nice to feel like we have a clue as to what we are doing and are not going into it blindly.
Today we had our 32week Dr. apt and the Dr. said everything was going great. Hunter is measuring right on time and if he had to guess right now he would say he is on track to be about a 7-8lb baby. I hope so! I don't want him to be like me, I was almost 10lbs, my poor mom. We have another Dr. apt in two weeks and then I think we will have weekly apts from then on out. Its crazy to think we are right at the end!! I'm hoping he comes no earlier than 39 weeks but I hope he does not decide he really likes it in there and wants to stay his whole 42 weeks where they will start talking about inductions and c-sections. The good thing is my hospital does not do inductions unless medically necessary until 39 weeks. Everything so far has been good throughout my entire pregnancy so here is hoping the next 7 1/2 weeks go the same way!! At the next apt they will do a strep b test, which honestly I have no idea what it is, I'll have to do some research so at least I will have a clue as to what they are doing.
After we left the Dr. we went by Toyota to visit with everyone there since we have not seen most of them since I left in March. It was really nice to see everyone and they all had nice things to say about JJ and I and how much they missed us. It's nice to be missed sometimes. Most of the guys (which is pretty much the entire dealership) said comments like your huge which would have probably hurt some peoples feelings but I can understand where they are coming from since they haven't seen me in 3 months and yea my belly is huge... there is a baby in there duh!
Only 3 more days until my lunch date with my mom sister and brother and then he is coming to stay with us!! Mom told us the other day she is interested to see how much he grows while he is here because they measured him and he is officially taller than me, I'm the tallest girl out of me Mom and Sam. My little brother is not so little anymore he is 5'5 now and will be 14 soon, crazy!!
